GPS Coordinates Database for Virginia

Statewide database containing thousands of GPS coordinates for cities, lakes, airports, trails, parks, waterfalls and many other features.

The coordinates are in degrees minutes and seconds in the ddmmss format.
For example, 384930 N = 38 degrees, 49 minutes, and 30 seconds North.
This project is supported by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This web site is part of the TeacherBridge project (www.teacherbridge.org) which is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is designed to support authoring and contribution by users.
